Able to locate Fitbit device remotely from Fitbit app

I am away from home and realized I don’t have my watch. I suspect I forgot it on the charger. It would be nice if while it’s charging, its WiFi is frequently enabled to both track when it was last on the charger and if it’s currently on the charger or still at home and be able to locate the watch remotely from the app.

I get notifications when my watch is done charging, even if i left at home. Make sure your watch has wifi turned on, and is connected/knows password for when you separate

Hi @Davchun - not all watches even have WiFi and those that do can't use WiFi unless on charge because of the energy required would drain the battery quickly but a location option is a good idea.

What would make more sense would be to record the location (of the phone's GPS) in the app when a watch is removed. That way you have an approximate location, though not very precise indoors and assumes you have your phone near you when taking it off but it does give an idea where to look for it.

As a current alternative for smart watches use a clock face such as SimpleClockPro which tells you when the watch will be fully charged and set this as an alarm on your phone to remember to take it or know where it is.

@Davchun - interesting, when the Sense 2 and Versa 4 were released they didn't have WiFi activated, has it now been enabled?

Were you able to set it up?

@Davchun- are you able to say how you use/enable WiFi on your Sense 2 and what you use it for and when?
