It would be amazing if, given the data you enter on your phone and data your fitbit collects, for your colories consumed or calories remaining to be displayed on your fitbit display. Please enable this!!

It would be nice to have a tracker without display that is very slim, just like the Fitbit Flex 2 used to be, maybe an improved version. No competitors offer similar devices. The Flex was one of a kind.

It would be great to see a tile on the Fitbit app dashboard that allows us to create and track different positive/negative habits (e.g., take pills, don’t smoke, skip take-out, read, etc.) to help us keep track and encourage us to develop healthy habits. You could send out reminders via the Ionic and Versa, allow us to create custom habits that we’re trying to keep or break, you could even throw in some badges for certain numbers of consecutive days. I know there are already existing apps that do this, but if Fitbit is serious about making their product the go-to for whole health, this would be a great feature.

I work at an animal hospital & have been there for almost 16 years. Time after time you see dogs come in that are overweight, we prescribe a prescription diet and they are told to increase the dogs activity. Today I had a dog come in for doggie daycare to incorporate more activity into her daily routine and I thought how great it would be to have a fitbit flex collar & chip that would track the animals steps, calories lost, weight, food & water intake, etc. I have 6 dogs of my own and it is very important to me that they get enough exercise. I think it would make people more conscientious of their dog's health as well. Not everybody walks with their dogs, sometimes a petsitter/dog walker walks them, play at doggie daycare or an owner will take them to the beach and watch the dogs run or swim. The app can be specific for dogs, the steps are calculated differently and the way they burn calories, the food logging portion can have all major dog foods/treats so the owner could track that as well. You could sell different fitbit flex collar band prints. People love there animals and want them healthy sometimes more than their own selves. The pets could reach goals too! Then they could get a printed fitbit tennis ball, Frisbee, collapsable travel food/water bowl, leash, etc for accomplishing biannual goals.

Hi everyone.
I started to develop an interest in investing for a tracker two weeks ago and I decided to settle with the Fitbit Charge 2. I have always looked at trackers in a negative light due to their boxy sporty boring designs. I have no idea what changed my mind to get one but I'm guessing one of the major reasons why I decided to go for Fitbit over other brands is the Fitbit app (through watching reviews on youtube). Loving the interface very much. Very neat and pretty. Hope Fitbit will continue to keep it that way!
I was reluctant to get the watch at first. Because of its...well, boxy sporty design. I have been a fan of round face watches my whole life, and dislike square-ish rectangular-ish watch . But after seeing that the bands are interchangeable, to leather, metal, and other coloured bands, to make it "prettier", I fell in love with it.
I recommended Fitbit to my friends but they are not interested (like how I was initially) due to its hardware design. So I hope very very much that Fitbit will soon come up with a nice waterproof round face watch with interchangeable bands (pretty please!).

It would be great to be able to have to ability to name your device for the families with more than one fitbit. My son and I both have a blaze and I struggle trying to figure out which is which when we are pairing them. This also makes is more personal, you could them maybe get messages with "way to go Raiderett68" Or " you have almost reached your goal, keep it up Raiderette68", this type of thing. more encouragement the better. I love my fitbit and am in hopes of getting the Ionic soon. this would be great to see on future updates and devices.

The charge 2 is able to display SMS contact name and detail information. However, when the name or content has Chinese or other non ASCII language, it failed to display anything.
Now, we have to choose to China or Taiwan location in order to see the "Simplifed Chinese" (I am very sorry it even can't support Traditional Chinese). However, this change will change the whole interface into Simplified Chinese.
Could you pleasee support Chinese and other Asian languages in English interface, too?
In short, please support UTF-8.

I have a standing desk and it important to me very much as my fitbit charge 2 currently has no differentiation between me standing and sitting, which seems bizarre. I used to have xiaomi 2 and all of the functions are the same, it will be interesting in terms of accuracy if this is the case.
The differentiating factor is the standinve vs sitting which xiaomi doesn't have but apple watch does. I stand almost 8 hours a day at my desk which is why I dropped the Xiaomi for fitbit. It is my problem I know as should have read the directions more clearly. Tech wise is this something you can add? Or would you recommend another model if I need this service please?

Some of us still want something very small that we can wear all the time and only charge every five days for so. I don't need another screen. I had the FitBit Flex 2 and never took it off. Same with my husband. We need the step tracking for our health insurance and so I don't want to have to take something off and charge all the time. Plus is lasts longer and is just no fuss. I can EASILY layer with jewelry and I just need something simple.

I like the vibrate when you reach your goal feature, but would like to see it go a little further. I don't run with headphones so it would be nice to have a setting option for it to vibrate at miles or minutes chosen rather than a voice que.

If we are trying to get people moving than Fitbit needs a Back to Basics model. The elderly or those who don't want to track sleep, heartbeat, gps, music and that sort of thing really need a quality basic model. This model should have Clip, lanyard option and the hook up for the bands. The step count accuracy of "Fitbit One" was very high. It has been my favorite out of all the fitness trackers I've had. I can't wear bands on my wrist, I never wear bracelets or watches. Those models had to be put in a pocket which was less than convenient. Here is what I am hoping for in a fitness tracker.
1.Accuracy in counting steps 2. Stair climbing counter 3. For the tracker to be small and clip comfortably to the middle of my bra. 4. estimated calorie burn 5. 2 week battery life like the fitbit One. 6. A button to click through the features quickly 7. The clip to come in various colors and at least one clip to be included with the purchase 8. a clock 9. waterproof for swimming
I also think that to improve any current models it would be amazing if we could go to our dashboard and shut off all the features we don't use to save battery life.

It would be great if the device itself warned you of the battery level being low. I honestly do go a few days without syncing only to find the battery has been dead and I've lost data. A vibrate, flashing warning or something like that like it does when you hit your goal to get your attention would be appreciated.

It would be great if the bezels on the smartwatches could be smaller (totally removed!). Instead of needing room for the "Fitbit" on the screen of the ionic it could be moved down to either the metal part on the top or bottom.
Larger screens would be helpful for:
A) fitting more on the screen for apps
B) putting a bigger font for those with bad eyes or if one is exercising
As far as idea/suggestions go how about this:
an ambient temperature sensor.
rationale being the outside temperature when it gets very cold will cause a higher caloric burn.

Can you add a motion detector to activate the clock display? Example: wring hand twice, etc. Sometimes you want to know the time, but it's hard to push the button (example in driving, riding and etc.). Thank you!

Being a gym go’er/weightlifter, I never bought a Fitbit because it never really seemed useful to me. I want something that can automatically track not only my reps but the weight that I am lifting. Gym equipment manufacturers have yet to solve this problem and I would like to see Fitbit do it. I know its possible because I almost came up with the solution but lack the necessary skill set to perfect it, so I’m sure Fitbit can think of something!!

British healthcare staff (and presumably staff in hospitals across the world) do not wear anything below the elbow to ensure cleanliness. Carrying a phone around all day is also not always possible - so how can people in these roles measure their daily activity?
There is an opportunity for Fitbit to develop some alternative form of strap or clip that can be worn on clothing.
The Fitbit Zip is one solution, but this offers limited functionality, and the same applies to the Flex. Individuals are unlikely to purchase two Fitbit products, one for work and another for life outside, so device flexibility is the key.
Whilst the heart rate monitoring won't work whilst clipped to clothing, it will still provide the key data during the working day.
There are around 1.5 million British healthcare staff, and (according to Google) around 18 million healthcare staff in the US, so developing a strap or clip to make your devices more flexible could find a significant market.
Also, there doesn't appear to be any other activity tracker companies that have this product, so Fitbit could lead the way...
Thank you for your consideration.

I am involved in a few health studies, some of these studies collect sleep data as well as exercise. I was wondering when fit bit inspire enters sleep mode, is there any way the screen could automatically dim itself, if I move my arm while sleeping it lights up and it is bright. This has woken me on more than one occasion because it is so bright.

Please make a luxe 2. I love the beautiful classy watch type look of it and it performs much better than when I had the inspire models. I think the charge and inspire models look ugly and too sporty.

Here's what we need: A watch with color screen, waterproof to 3 meters, built in GPS and swimming parameters in app. Bam, perfect Fitbit.
It would be really helpful if the tracker displayed more than 40 characters when displaying a text via your phone. There alsmost isn't any point in having any text at all. Please update please!

I would like to see real time steps per minute.
It would be particularly useful for my favorite activity, outdoor stair climbing, but would also be of interest to speed walkers and joggers.
I'd pay for an Android Wear app to run a Fitbit Tracker on my Android Wear watch. Fitbit leads the way when it comes to fitness and sleep tracking, but falls short on phone interaction. I would like to participate in the challenges between my family members, but I'm not purchasing and wearing an additional device to do so. I would, however, pay for an app to install on my watch to allow this. I have 2 Android Wear watches I'd install this on to become a fitness tracker, since Android Wear falls short in that realm.
At a high level, I'd like a Fitbit app that runs on my Android Wear watch and syncs to the Fitbit app on my phone. The watch app itself could be a watch face with similar behavior to those of Charge HR.
Pebble devices are still more functional than Fitbit activity trackers. I was hoping you'd continue development of that platform, it's superior to any of your watches today and I have 2 Pebble watches I still wear. You own Pebble, so it'd be nice if there was some integration there, too
I love my Blaze but sometimes miss wearing a classic looking circular, analog watch with physical hands. Hybrid smartwatches appear to be becoming more common among other brands such as Garmin, Misfit, Nokia/Withings and Fossil (a noteworthy one is the Garmin Vivomove HR).
I think an analog watch perhaps with a small touchscreen panel for quickly viewing stats (such as steps, calories, active minutes, stand hours, sleep, stairs climbed) would make for a great device. I imagine that the touchscreen doesn't need to be big - perhaps even a size similar to the original Fitbit Charge/Charge HR screen is big enough.
A hybrid smartwatch may also appeal to those who aren't particularly fond of smartwatches/fitness trackers as they prefer something more traditional - potentially bringing more people into the Fitbit community. I am aware that this would likely require a reasonable amount of R&D (particularly to get a good watch design) but just wanted to pitch the suggestion nonetheless.
I wish it was possible to use PAI score in the Fitbit equipment/app. The teory behind is interesting and it works. Easy, visual and scientific proven by the University in Trondheim, Norway (NTNU). https://www.ntnu.edu/cerg/personal-activity-intelligence
A cooperation, open up Fitbit pulse watches for the PAI app and integrate the PAI algoritm in Fitbit App. Win-win solution.

Basically, you would have all the features in front of you. You would be able to choose as many features as you want. You can choose your metal, and your band. And each different thing would cost a different amount. However many features you choose, the price is added up to a total of ___. And then you would probably pay an extra fee for the making.
Solar charged watches have been around for a while now (I use to have a citizens watch) and I think solar charged Fitbit would be a great new product due to the fact while your charging it (wall charged) you miss out of a lot of steps (1-2 hours steps add up quickly)

We really need E Ink displays. There are many indirect requests for this, but the conclusion is clear: we need an E Ink display in future Fitbit products.
Many users requested for:
There is also a huge market void that is left after acquisition of Pebble. There is a signifiant shortage of E Ink displays, and having Fitbit produce one, it will be a smart business strategy.
Personally, I will not buy the Ionic, and disappointed by Fitbit under many cases. But if Fitbit makes an E Ink, I will surely buy it.
