The CDC says, "We now know that any amount of physical activity has some health benefits. Americans can benefit from small amounts of moderate-to-vigorous physical activity throughout the day. The first edition of the Physical Activity Guidelines for Americans stated that only 10-minute bouts of physical activity counted toward meeting the guidelines. The second edition removes this requirement to encourage Americans to move more frequently throughout the day as they work toward meeting the guidelines."
In 2015 you changed your policy from counting all active minutes to only those in groups of at least 10 min. each - you said as per the CDC guidelines. I contacted you then and provided all kinds of evidence that this was not a correct policy to follow. See: https://community.fitbit.com/t5/Feature-Suggestions/Return-to-counting-activity-min-bouts-of-less-th...
Now that the CDC recognizes that all physical activity has health benefits, will you please switch back to counting all active minutes instead of only those in groups of at least 10 min.
Thank you.
I would like while using the interval workout to record the whole workout with GPS (something like Garmin has). Start running and after warm up ,start your interval workout, and after that a cooling down of and record the whole run with GPS. At this moment the only thing whats recorded is the interval workout that you setup before, and you can't set it up with warming up and cooling down.
For example the best option in my opinion would be:
Start running with GPS enabled and after a few km's manually start the interval that you setup on forehand. If the interval training is ready the GPS wont stop until you manually stop your run.
Edit:
Yesterday i had the following interval training:
2 x 4 minutes sprint with 3 minutes rest
3 x 3 minutes sprint with 2 minutes rest
2 x 2 minutes sprint with 1 minute rest
I found out that this could not be setup in the Ionic app as a exercise and the only thing you can setup is a basic interval with the move minutes and rest time and repeats.
Any chance that this will be added? Looks to me as a simple thing :-).

Bug:
* Android app, latest version.
* Edit exercise from today that I recorded via my fitbit device.
* Change distance from 3.53 km.
* backspace to 3.5, validation error "Enter a valid distance"
* put it back to 3.53, same error
* 3., same error
* 3 passes validation
I have restarted my fitbit device and uninstalled and restarted my phone.

Since each exercise type calculates calories different, it would be great to enable a hybrid workout where you can select for instance treadmill first, then circuit exercise, and end with a run. All in the same workout but tracking each part of your workout accurately for the exercise you're doing would be fantastic!

It's great to use the AHA's reccomendations. But fitbit didnt do it right! The AHA's recommendation of 150 minutes of moderate activity per week is only for aerobic activity (e.g., running, walking, biking). This means that any anaerobic activity (e.g., weight lifting) DOES NOT count towards that. It needs to be changed to reflect this!

When you share a picture after a run or workout from fitbit it would be nice to have the full time shown in the stats at the bottom and not just the minutes. My fitbit shared photo just shows the minutes but other apps such as run keeper will show minutes and seconds. I would love it if fitbit could incorporate that into the data shown. I’m trying to decrease the number of apps I need to use to record the data I want. This would be so much easier than having to go back through my workouts to find my full time if I don’t remember it or log it in a different app.
I was happy to find horseback riding as an exercise type. However it could use a few tweaks to make it better.
- likely because of the similarities between the movement of a horse trot, to climbing stairs, the exercise tracker thought I climbed 47 flights of stairs for a 73 minute horse back ride. I am not sure if climbing stairs has a different caloric value, but if it does then it would really throw of my daily caloric burn.
- steps in general, my Fitbit thinks I took a ton more steps than I actually did. While at a trot it might make sense to count the steps since I do have to put some effort in, walking should not. Maybe a percentage adjustment would be a good way to more accurately track the time.
Thanks for your awesome product and continued support

Please add Jazzercise to the type of exercises listed.

There should be an option in the app to delete specific laps, not just the whole exercise. For example, when running if you forget to click finish once the run is complete the last lap will be a "cooldown period/walk".

Similar to Strava - track and display online/app my top distance/times for common races. 1m, 3k, 5k, 10k, 13.1, 21.6. Use my exercise to determine my ranking against each distance. In premium, analysis of how I am doing against my best times and strategies to push forward - including suggestions for rest/recovery.

I have a Charge 3 and I use it and the app to track everything...food, workouts etc. When I want to add an exercise type that I am doing that day and for how long I love having so many options to choose from but the one that is missing is “Core”. Could you please add Core as an exercise type option? I currently add my core sessions as yoga but I would really like to label them appropriately for tracking purposes. Thank you
I had the first Versa way back when, and the onscreen workout walkthroughs were absolutely brilliant! I lived near the beach, so it was a wonderful way to be outdoors but still have a guided workout. I never understood why the feature was scrapped and would be one happy camper should it be reintroduced.

Like steps in (km) it will be nice if we can have the same features for km done with bike rides, with the possibility to select 1 week, 1 month, 3 months, 1 year.
Actually, in the "recent" tab of Bike exercice we can only see the previous rides and it is limited to 6

During workouts, can we set up custom screens with the data we want. Needing to scroll through a list of data points while running is not very convenient. Being able to quickly swipe left or right to see different chunks of data would be very more efficient.

I would like to see the ability to add/remove exercises from the VERSA 3. You cannot change the options on the phone, the Fitbit App, or on the Fitbit Dashboard.

It would be really nice to be able to see the total elapsed time per mile on the Fitbit app. Currently it only shows the pace per mile. A person could do the math, but who has the energy for that after a run? Example: I ran the first mile in 7:50, the second in 7:56, it would be awesome to see 15:46 at the 2 mile log in the app.
