24h SPO2

Hi,

Looking to run a clinical feasibility study, with SPO2 (+ accelerometry) as an outcome. Would need ~1min intervals across all waking hours over a period of several weeks. Can this theoretically be done with the FitBit tech, or are we limited to sleep?

Thanks

Hi @MGR_UA - currently SpO2 access is very limited for developers, possibly for legal reasons, so being able to override the default watch operations is going to be unlikely.

Thanks Guy,

I'm getting the impression Fitbit wouldn't be a good device for this. It looks like Garmin allows 24h SPO2 (not sure about data access/extraction yet), I was hoping on the FitBit we could set "sleep" time to something like "2:03AM-2:01AM" to get 24h SPO2, but I haven't actually played around with a device yet- and a lost cause if we can't get the data. It seems like everything struggles with SPO2 unless completely still, likely a limit of the reflectance pulse ox.
