Is anyone aware of any kind of BPM smoothing that occurs before heart rate data is accessible to us developers? Compared to other wearable devices the Sense is very uniform in its BPM output. Trying to calculate something like short windowed HRV (1–2-minute window), gives extremely small numbers. These numbers are not present with other wearable devices (Apple) running the same exact algorithm designs and windows.
