I am switching from Pebble to Fitbit Versa 2 and I am wondering if it's possible to create an app that will be 'always visible', meaning: no shake gesture nor pressing button is required to see the app's screen. I need to create multiple, long-running counters (and I have to control them almost all the time).

It is in fact possible, because there is a section called "Always On". I'm thinking search for tutorials on Youtube.

@splatboy20081was referring to this: https://dev.fitbit.com/blog/2019-12-19-announcing-fitbit-os-sdk-4.1/#always-on-display-api
Unfortunately, it's not open for everyone to use yet.
Ironically, it could have been done on a non-AOD device more easily (but at the expense of battery life).
