Can I develop an Android app using the fitbit api?

I would like to develop an Android app using the fitbit api, and if it is, I want to know if it can send data in real time and control the data in conjunction with the smartbit product of the fitbit app.

If you mean comms from your Android app directly to the Fitbit device or via the Fitbit mobile app, then unfortunately not.

How do I retrieve data from (fitbit mobile app) from my android and ios app.
