Good evening, I was wondering if there is a way that my companion app can trigger a notification on the android device to which it is hosted? So for example, when I am wearing the Fitbit, I want to trigger a message using the message api to its companion app. I then want the companion app to trigger a notification on the android device. Is this possible? I know there are some random work arounds if I wanted to accomplish this. For example, I could use the Twilio API and just have the companion app hit the Twilio API, and Twilio can then send a notification to the mobile device. However this is not the route I prefer to take.
