Companion custom stats display

I'd like to show some text info in my companion app, in any way that makes sense.

 

I found that it's fairly simple (but hacky) to update text settings values with the info, but I was wondering if there is a better way that I just can't see.

 

I just want to put all the stats I'm interested in on one page, without having to write a fully fledged 3rd party app.
