Companion not getting woken up

I have been receiving compalints since past few weeks from users that weather didn't work on their watch.

Upon investigating by sideloading the app, I found that the companion is not getting woken up and thus not sending data periodically to my watch

I rely on 3 ways for waking companion which should work based on your documentation, but none of them work

1. Using wake interval API 

2. By sending a message from device to companion

3. By sending a file from device to companion

Any changes that would affect this recently? The device/companion communication has always been un-reliable, but it definitely wasn't this bad before

I think that a recent update to iOS and/or the Fitbit app has resulted in issues like this. A new version of the Fitbit app is coming which will address it.

Is there an official word describing the issue. Otherwise its pretty bad fitbit doesn't keep developers informed

Is there any update on this? I continue to receive complaints that weather stopped working and I haven't made any changes. I can repro this issue by sideloading the app
