Device Bridge is disconnected

ANSWERED

Hi, folks.

I just started using Fitbit OS simulator to develop new clockface.

However, simulator's settings states "Device bridge is disconnected".

Does anyone know any solutions?

Please excuse my poor English.

Hi @Yu1na - the simulator disconnects after a certain time, and if sideloading to the watch, the  watch also, and when battery level falls below 25%.

Charge the watch if using side loading.

Use "Connect device" if it is disconnected, that may not work if the account is temporarily disconnected.

To resolve that select another watch in the simulator and come back or restart the simulator.

You also need to setup a developer account which may be the issue.

After testing in the simulator, instead of sideloading to your watch it is possible to add your project in the Gallery App Manager and install via a private link which is far less resource hungry for the watch than a sideload.
