Device bridge is disconnected

When I connect to the Fitbit OS Simulator via Fitbit studio, under 'Phones' it says 'Simulator Connected', but under Devices it says 'No devices available'.

In Fitbit OS Simulator app, in 'Settings' it says 'Companion bridge is connected to a debugger', however it also says 'Device bridge is disconnected'

Could someone help me understand why this is and how to get the simulator device listed in Fitbit studio?

The logs contain this line:
ERR: SSL error: unable to get local issuer certificate (preverify_ok=0;err=20;depth=2)
Has this got something to do with it?
