Working on a watch face and I have lots of data to store. I was thinking about storing this data in the companion folder in hopes of making function calls faster as apposed to having an api call. Will this data size effect the overall build size of the watch face on the device. I don't want to have a large footprint on the device.
I have a set of data that is about 8.5 MB when saved as a txt file
Thanks,
Paul

Good question! I think the overall size of the package will be increased, but the space taken up on the watch will not. The maximum package size is 10MB (except on Lite), so you should be okay.
