Downgrading App and Firmware Update

Hello we are working on a pilot to use Fitbits in the workplace.

We bought 40 Versa Lite to give to the workers and install our app in it. The problem is that is requesting to update the watch's firmware in order to install the app. The only way we found to force the update is to make a factory reset on the watch and start the pairing process again. And then wait for the update that due to the Versa Lite lack of Wifi becomes a long process.

This is very time consuming and problematic even more so in the work place environment we are testing in.

My question is, can we downgrade our app so it can work with the firmware version that the watches come out of the box?

Also another way to force the update without factory reset would be appreciated too.
Thank you for your time!

You can rebuild your app with an older version of the SDK provided you aren't using APIs that were introduced in more recent versions.

I'm unsure which versions you have on your devices, but this list should let you work out which version to use:

SDK 1.0
Fitbit OS 1.2 - x.31.1.29
Fitbit OS 2.0 - x.32.4.19
Fitbit OS 2.1 - x.32.10.15
Fitbit OS2.1.1 - x.32.10.20
SDK 2.0
Fitbit OS2.2 - x.32.12.19
SDK 3.0
Fitbit OS 3.0 - x.33.1.30
SDK 4.0
Fitbit OS 4.0 - x.68.9.15
SDK 4.1
Fitbit OS 4.1 - x.70.7.14

In terms of forcing the firmware update, it can't be done without the factory reset, sorry. All updates trickle to the device before they're shown as available.
