Drag-n-drop of images into Fitbit Studio is broken

ANSWERED

Earlier in the day, I was able to drag-n-drop some png files into the resources directory.   However, doing the same task now results in no files uploaded to the resources directory.   There is no messages to the user, just nothing happens when I try to drag-n-drop images into any of my project's directories.

That's strange, it's working here for me.

I would try to logout, then login again.

Closing the browser and reopening the browser seems to give me the ability to drag-n-drop image files to the resource directory, but this only works about 33% of the time.   I had to close the browser and reopen it three times to get the ability to upload files to the resource directory.

Can you provide more information?

What are the size and dimensions of the images you're uploading?

Do specific files fail, or does the same file work sometimes and not others?

Which OS and browser?

Do you see any error messages in the browser console?

Thanks

I'm using Firefox.  The Console says,

"Error: Cannot call hover while not dragging.  main.03f5c18e.js:1:89376"

I'm basically trying to drag-n-drop the same image files from this git repo,

https://github.com/Fitbit/sdk-lcd-clock/tree/master/resources

The drag-n-drop has been flaky in Fitbit Studio.

Thanks, we've logged this issue.

You may have better luck using Google Chrome while you're waiting for a fix.

Attempting to follow 'Getting Started' / Trying 'Drag and drop your image directly into the resources folder of your project in Fitbit Studio', but nothing will upload.

Test environment:

 - Chrome Version 71.0.3578.98 (Official Build) (64-bit)

 - macos 10.13.6

 - .jpg file is 104k (300x300)

I've tried Safari and Firefox too, but with the same results.

Any suggestions?  Thanks in advance.

"logout, then login again" doesn't change the behavior ; drag 'n' drop still fails.

The "resources" folder doesn't "accept" drag and drop attempts.  There are no errors.

drag-n-drop using any mac browser in Studio seems to be the problem.

Using a windows browser, drag-n-drop in Studio works fine.

What's the fix to drag-n-drop using a mac browser in Studio ?

I'm having the same issue. There does not seem to be a way to include external files into a project. Logging out and logging in has done nothing, as with resetting my browser.

Google Chrome

Windows 10
