Right now, the units.temperature field is based on a user's distance profile settings within the Fitbit app. However, this is quite confusing to many users, and is impractical for many users in the United Kingdom, who use Imperial Units for Distance, but Metric Units for Temperature. It would make is much easier if Fitbit could add a separate field so as to allow users the select the correct units for distance, and temperature units.

A different implementation has been done by Fitbit directly in the weather app (see here).
If, since you posted in the SDK section, you refer to an eventual app you are developing, then you can implement a similar script via settings.

Thanks for the feature request @hsmayer . So I think the units.temperature attribute returns still the wrong temperature unit. In the Fitbit App on the phone there is now a possibility to set it independant from distance but it is still not working. Or is there some other way to get this value from the settings?
