Fetch in companion is empty

I have found multiple threads with this issue but haven't found a solution.

I have even created my own test api and i saw that it's actually getting hit and returning like it should, but the fetch response = {}.

I have confirmed internet permission is granted and tried multiple options.

Not sure what i'm doing wrong here.
