First, I'll say I'm loving my FitBit and the SDK. It's easy to use and fun to program!
But while using FitBit studio, I can't upload files from my Chromebook. When I drag a file to drop it in the Resources folder (or anywhere else), I get the "Transferring your files" dialog box with the ever-spinning circle in the center. No errors ever show up in the javascript console.
When I use a PC to upload the same file, it's uploaded instantaneously.
I'm using an HP Chromebook 360 with the latest version of ChromeOS and the Chrome browser.
There are a lot of other posts in the forum about people having this problem on different systems, but I haven't seen anything about Chromebooks. I hope it's an easy fix.

Were you able to install the Simulator on Chromebook? I could not find any app on Playstore.

I've experienced this as well. I don't know exactly why the problem exists- but if I had to guess it's because even though the operating system is built on a UNIX-based kernel, something about the file storage path on chromebooks differs from MacOS and Windows.
tl;dr I haven't found a solution to this on Chromebooks.
