Fitbit Charge 5 not linked to my account

Hello,

I have Fitbit Charge 5 and I'm trying to publish an App I created via GAM.

After logging in to my account at https://gam.fitbit.com/, and accepting the terms of service, I get the following error message:

"You need to have a Fitbit watch paired to your Fitbit account before you can submit your app for distribution. Please associate your watch to this account and try again."

Therefore I cannot publish my own app I created via Fitbit Studio

When viewing my account at https://www.fitbit.com/user/B57WKC and at https://www.fitbit.com/settings/device

I can clearly see my device "Charge 5" is associated there with the account.

But still, when trying to log in to GAM I get the same error message.

How can I log in to GAM to publish my app?

Unfortunately, it is not possible to develop apps for Charge 5. It doesn't run Fitbit OS.

Hi there thank you for the answer,

Do you know what OS Charge 5 does run?

Is there any possibility it would be possible to develop custom-made apps for the Charge 5 in the future?

@idan503   I'm not a Fitbit employee, but I don't believe Fitbit has plans to allow third party apps on any of its trackers.
