Fitbit OS Simulator and proxy - Unable to login

Hello,

I am apparently unable to start the fitbit OS simulator when in a network that requires a proxy to access the internet. The login page seems "stuck" after i enter my login info.

Do others have the same experience ?

It does login using a web view, so I would imagine if you can configure the proxy for your OS, then it should work.

The proxy i need to use is declared in the OS settings and works fine in applications that relies on the OS settings. 

Interesting detail, the only part that is blocked is the authentication in the simulator. If i authenticate while on a network without proxy, then change network, i am able to use the simulator successfully. 

Our proxy relies on authentication which is transparently done through the windows session but can be provided manually in application that requires it (eg node package manager).

Anyone else is using a proxy that require authentication and successfully login the simulator ?

We are having a proxy at work, and the simulator also stuck at login page. I can't have a direct access to internet at work. Simulator not working with proxy is really frustrating.

I'm having the same problem. Proxy at work, if I change to my phone shared connection it works.

Same issue for me.  The Simulator gets stuck at "Login transfer" window when launched through a proxy.

Yes, had the same. You can configure the proxy for your OS, should be working. We use proxies at work because I am a marketing specialist and we are buying proxy because we need to send emails from clean IP addresses. And the same problem with login occurred. By the way, I am using proxy after reading good information about it https://residentialip.net/. I hope you solved your problem.

@fleming007 If you're behind a proxy/firewall you have no choice to use that proxy to access the internet. The app Fitbit OS Simulator doesn't give the option to add a proxy in the setting, so it's useless if you're behind proxy/firewall.
