Fitbit SDK limitation in translate transformation?

I have a strange question: is there any a limitation of the SDK to translate transformation? I'm trying to do a Y translate with a large negative value (-300) and the symbols just disappear (works for 299 though).  Don't get any error in the console so I think it might be something internal in the SDK. I couldn't find anything in the Forum or in the documentation. 
 
Any help is highly appreciated.

Yes, I've encountered such limitations too. About one screen size in any direction seems okay.
