Fitbit and Google Android Wear

Hi guys,

Any thoughts on whether Fitibit will maintain the JavaScript environment or will it transition to Android Wear OS with the recent Google acquisition?

I would hope they take advantage of the Fitbit ecosystem. Google has not had a lot of success with hardware. Hopefully they are attempting to buy some with this purchase. It does concern me that we haven't heard from our @Fitbit friends since the 30th. We can always hope they're just busy selling their stock options...

The Fitbit smart watches are clearly superior to the competition in battery life, functionality, and development tools. My Apple smartwatch friend charges his watch all night long. I charge my Ionic while showering. My heart rate monitoring is 24 hour, it monitors my sleep, and I use the Fitbit app to keep track of calories. I've lost 70 pounds with this thing. I would hate for Fitbit to fail or become something less.

And, have you ever tried to write code for IOS? I gave up, and I write in everything.

Regards,

Reign
