Fitbit studio only possible way to develop apps for Ionic?

Hi, 

 

 I would love to develop few ideas I have onto Ionic. 

 However, I am not willing to use online Fitbit studio to do so.

 

 Is there a set of tools, compiler, etc that I can use locally to build apps?
