It seems approval for new submissions, updates or error correction to descriptions are no longer possible.
There is no one assigned to maintain the Gallery or even deal with emails. It has become unsupported.
And once an update is submitted any further corrections to text are blocked because they are not getting approved in a timely manner anymore.
The corrected text cannot be retrieved once submitted and if cancelled the text reverts to the uncorrected text and the correction is immediately lost.
This means misleading and inconsistent text or images can persist forever, now the approval process for any minor changes is not being done.
To avoid any errors and discrepancies becoming fixed in stone it is proposed changes to descriptions or clock images changes should no longer be subject to an approval process, as it once was.

@Guy_, are you saying that something is no longer being done at all, or just that it is not being done 'in a timely manner'?

@Gondwana - the simple text acceptation is not being addressed, gallery support don't respond to any emails either.
The situation has become appallingly bad and things are now out of sync as well. Text descriptions needlessly don't match the situation as a result.

Not the best sign here of things to come... But I've noticed that most of the Repos here https://github.com/Fitbit Have been archived and shown as read only, the latest one just a few short weeks ago.

I wonder if they're quietly quitting on us. Just my luck as I returned from my 7 year Hiatus on developing my app as of the beginning of Feb. You can blame me if you'd like.

It's a Good thing I've already ported over to watchOS with swift. Gonna have to pay that Apple Pay to Play fee but at least I'll have my stuff back out there soon enough. Not sure I'd be interested in porting over to Pixel but I'll check it out.

The problem with the GAM updates seems to be worse still.
One project won't accept any text updates, with no error message, Save actions but does nothing.
Though adding a test screenshot worked but then it's not possible to cancel it. Probably not important as it won't get approved anyway.
As they don't ever respond to emails or do updates this update process is now totally broken.

Fitbit support is unable to respond about the development side, GAM support has now vanished.
It seems no one knows who to contact, presumably because there is no one!
Google has forgotten it exists and has assigned no one to manage it.
