Getting steps data in a 1 second detail

Hi, for research purposes I'm trying to get the Steps data for every second in a single day.

I tried using the "Get Activity Intraday Time Series" option but the minimum detail-level there seems to be 1 minute.

Is there any other option to get this data in a 1 second detail?

You'd have to use the Device API, with custom code to send the data to a server of your own. It's possible, but difficult.
