How do I add/navigate to another .gui file?

Hi all - 

Can someone explain conceptually how I can add a second .gui file that would load up when I click a combo-button on my app? 

An example of what I need is the Alarm app, where it loads up a different gui when you click +New Alarm and the back button brings you back to the index.gui page. In my case, I want to load a simple gui that allows the user to select an item from a list.
