How does paid subscription work for Versa apps?

Hello, 

I would like to better understand what we can and cannot do in terms of paid apps.

I would like to do the following:

1. Offer a 1 month trial using a coupon code
2. Offer a 1 month trial after subscribing to the service
3. Monthly fee (0.99 cents or something)

I remember reading something about apps that can't be paid for if they were ever free at some point, but that's not what I intend to offer. The app will always be a premium service. I offer a coupon trial to early adopters to gather feedback, and then another trial to people who subscribe, so that they can delete their subscription if they see fit.

Also, how do I implement this subscription part into the "fitbit" app? (Most apps have a little "settings gear" next to the name, where you can customize the app. I would like to add the payment system / Coupon in there. Is that possible?
