How to create a clock hand

I want to create a clock hand with a point and different color on the end. I'm guessing I'll have to create a Rectangle, then somehow add a colored point to the end of the rectangle. Does anyone have an example of doing something like this?

You can put a few shapes into a single template symbol, then rotate that as a single element.
