Is a SDK for Charge 3 needed/interesting?

I haven't graduated to the Ionic, Versa or Versa Lite watches yet, and I'm not sure if i will any day soon.  But I have been thinking about some really cool, basic useful apps that a Charge 3 could use:

 

-App that displays simple notifications (i.e. calendar reminder for a birthday, etc.).  The button could start the app & a tap could take you to the next day's reminders.  Just have all reminders scroll like text messages presently do.

 

Anyone else think about more simple apps for the Charge 3 series?  I know there is no SDK for it, but if enough interest is generated, maybe FitBit will build this into a Charge 4 or a Developer Charge.
