Is raw PPG data discarded?

ANSWERED

Hi,

Does anyone know whether the raw sensor data (specifically from the PPG sensor on the Charge 5) is discarded once the Fitbit algorithms HR and HRV algorithms are applied? Or is it stored somewhere e.g. on the Fitbit servers? I have finished data collection and would like to know whether the raw PPG data still exists somewhere (and ideally how I could access it!).

Thanks so much!

I'd be fairly confident that it's discarded. There would be too much data to transmit via Bluetooth, which is slow.

The SDK doesn't provide access to raw PPG data (and isn't applicable to Change watches anyway). You could peruse what the Web API offers, but I don't think you'll find raw sensor data.
