It would be nice to deploy some custom mp3 tracks with the application and play them back to announce milestones or performance data, I.e. ahead/behind/on target pace, current pace etc.

 

Obviously can only be used when headphones are paired and in use, which would be necessary information provided by an api.

 

Is this likely to be a possibility or just fantasy thinking?

It's not fantasy and not unreasonable!

 

Make sure you submit a feature suggestion with the SDK label. https://community.fitbit.com/t5/Feature-Suggestions/idb-p/features/label-name/sdk/tab/most-kudoed
