Hi everyone - I am performing a study for a small class project, and we are looking to use a Fitbit to provide vibration feedback to users. Is there a way to make the Fitbit vibrate whenever someone presses a button on a phone, perhaps through the companion app?
I've looked through the Haptics section of the API, but I am just not sure about the wireless component. Thank you in advance for your time.

There's no way to communicate from a mobile app to the device, without going via the internet.
You could trigger a standard push notification on mobile, then make sure your Fitbit is configured to receive those push notifications. https://help.fitbit.com/articles/en_US/Help_article/1979
