Hi everyone,

 

I'm interested in making an app that you will be able to send text messages through an iPhone.  The basic concept it to write a keyboard that the user can type a message into, send messages, and view conversations.Since there are quick replies, I imagine it wouldn't be too hard to write an app that you can make custom messages on the fly.  Is there an API that interfaces with the iPhone messaging app?  Thanks for any help!

There are a few issues here:

1. I don't think there is an API to send messages in iOS.

2. You cannot communicate directly with an iOS app from Ionic.
