I have a paid app since september last year using the kiezelpay system. I realy like the kiezelpay but the big disadvantage for me is the fact that is has no subscriptions. I will release my own payment method into my app in a few weeks. I want to poll if there is any interest by other developers using an alternative.
I do consider to make this payment system open for others. In my current coding I already took into account that is flexible by supporting and infinite number of different apps & developers.
My approach would be to directly transfer the money to the developers paypal account. You only have to register as a paypal business account and set my domain as endpoint url to validate purchases.
The advantages of this approach
Downsides:
Any form of Feedback, Interest and suggestions are welcome.

Yeah, I agree with you Oliver.
The Kiezelpay system has been one of my favorites for a long time. Of course, no system is perfect and making an alternative is always a good thing. I like the fact that Pietero provides the approach which contains a direct transfer to Paypal. It's practical because it includes VAT too and plenty of payment methods. I'm currently involved in a gaming business and use maxpay payment gateway for my gaming merchant accounts and individual accounts. I think you should have a look at this system too and maybe you will borrow some ideas from them too. I don't think they're going to be upset about it, lol.

The payment system is already launched but decided half way not to make it available for others due to a lack of interest. Also, when I would charge 10 cents per transaction, it wouldn't be worth the effort.
Results are quite promising. I have a 22% purchase rate compared to 13% on kiezelpay. I don't need to pay VAT for countries oustside EU. You only have to pay VAT in the US if your sales exceeds 100.000 euro's. The rule of thumb is that you only have to pay VAT (if the country has it) if your sales exceeds 10.000 for a small economy and 100.000 for a big economy. I use paypal micropayments so the paypal fee is 5 cents plus 5%.
Another thing is that I charge Euro's and US dollars. For Euro's I don't have to pay a conversion fee anymore.
Overall my income has increased more than 2 times only because of higher conversion rate and reduced transaction fee's. I don't take into account that the subscriptions will have some income on the longer term. I also offer a life-time plan (2 times the yearly subscription) and surprisingly, a lot of people buy it.
