1. What is the browser/rendering engine used?
2. What are the capabilities of the browser in combination with the different FitBit devices, i.e. how do they differ if I would open html5test.com on them?
3. Is there support for media elements (audio/video) or animated GIF images?
4. Do I have to rely on SVG and FitBit specific app structure or can I use the FitBit devices to render a generic website?

1. Fitbit OS. It doesn't render HTML or web pages.
2. N/A: there isn't a browser.
3. There is limited animation support, but not GIFs.
4. The first thing.
5. The Windows Fitbit sim does all Fitbit OS devices.

5. The macOS simulator apparently only supports older(?) "ionic" devices and I couldn't get any of the prebuilt examples to work in FitBit studio. How can I run the "phone simulator" (just having the app open does not seem sufficient). Does the Windows FitBit simulator support newer devices?
