Plans to open source the SDK?

ANSWERED

The documentation so far is great and I expect it'll be improved immensely going forward and when people start using it. That said, I think a lot of the questions so far could be answered pretty easily by the source if was available.

I know there's plenty of tradeoffs when open-sourcing code backing a for-profit enterprise, but I wanted to ask anyway:

Are there any plans to open source the Fitbit SDK?

This is not currently planned, and I don't think it could be achieved without open sourcing large amounts of the firmware itself. Sorry.
