Awesome! It took about 30 minutes to install. New version : 27.30.5.8 🙂

Is there some trick to get the Ionic to install the new firmware?  I keep syncing but I'm still on 27.30.3.2 with no notification to update (I tried restarting the Ionic and syncing in both the Android & Windows 10 apps).

Interesting new APIs... but...

1. no Sleep API yet? I was thinking to create a "smart alarm" since FitBit seems pretty "slow" (see here, marked "under consideration" in 2014, almost four years ago!)
2. no PebbleKit equivalent yet? In iOS this is dreadful. I would love an API so send messages to my watch. Polling, under iOS, is unreliable plus requires opening a port and all the bad things that come with them.

Please, let us know these are coming. Or the AppStore will turn into a watch-face-or-where-is-my-ride app store

No trick to installing. In the phone app you should get a notification there's a new version to install. Clicking that installs it. It takes about 30-35 minutes to install.

Definitely no notification in the app yet. Have restarted phone and watch several times, but no notification...

A very important fix is not mentioned in the release notes. The geolocation watchposition is working! Just tested it and i can confirm it is working.
