Private links to self developped apps

ANSWERED
  • I want to share apps that I developped for the fitbit sense with friends via the app galery manager. Publishing seems to work but the link that is generated results in "sorry, that page is unavailable or does not exist".  Are private links also effected by the new regulations for publishing third party apps? The gallery app manager does not mention this.
  • Is there another simple way to provide these apps to my friends?

Is there a simple alternative to get the apps on the Fitbits of my friends?

@Theodorus  I moved your post to the SDK Development forum, a better fit for your question.  All third party apps were removed from the Gallery in the EEA.  I'm not a developer, so I can't answer your question about private links.

Hi @Theodorus - published or private links in the Gallery work for everyone except EEA users.

See Removal of Third-party Products from the Fitbit Gallery for EU Users in June 2024

As long as you have an EEA IP address only Fitbit stuff can be accessed.
