I couldn't find another point of connect for this so I will start here. My app update got rejected for

"Issue #1 The timer stops when the device enters sleep mode/AOD."

I can't seem to find where that rule is stated? I am also not familiar with what is meant by "AOD". The last thing is that I am not sure why I would want the timer to continue when the device is in an sleep mode?

I'm not sure what your app does, but when the display turns off, or enters AOD mode, the clock tick event does not fire. If you're expecting a counter to increment inside the tick event, then that might explain the issue. In the simulator you can toggle the display off and on, see what that does to your app.
