i made an app to display Ecobee thermostat sensor data on a versa or ionic. It pairs with your ecobee account and then shows you data from all thermostats and sensors on your account. It was rejected because i didn't supply a username/password combo for the ecobee website for the app reviewers.
Ecobee developer support is kind of terrible, there's no such thing as 'demo' accounts. No simulators or anything. I don't have any credentials other that those for my own personal ecobee which I'm not going to give to the app reviewers. The only option I have would be to actually buy another ecobee for the express purpose of creating an account for my fitbit app submission. An app that I wasn't planning on charging for.
Is there anyway to get my app approved without providing a username/password for ecobee's service.
