Hi. I'm trying to create my first watch face with a companion app. I'm using FitBit CLI and VS Code. I sideloaded the watch face onto my Sense using Developer Bridge. I also connected to Developer Bridge on my phone and the install seemed to work (according to the VS Code terminal). The watch face appears on my Sense and works fine. However, after syncing with my phone, I go to my gallery and get the message "Some applications did not finish installing" with choices of "Continue" and "Later". Whichever I pick, I get the "Switching" message along with an bouncing progress bar. But it never finishes. If I pick "Continue" it will eventually give me a message that the install failed. As a result of all of this, I never get access to the companion app on my phone so I can't test my settings. Anyone run into this and have a solution? Thanks!

Hi @DTabako - this can happen as it gets all confused.
Firstly sync the watch, and if necessary logout of the Fitbit App, clear the storage cache and force stop it.
For good measure restart both watch and phone, this should resolve the switching problem and enable you to reach the watch settings.

Hi @Guy_ ,
Thanks for the reply. I've just tried all of that and still getting the same issue. I've had a similar issue in the past with my sideloaded watch faces but I've more or less ignored it because I haven't had a companion app to test. But I've never been able to make them show up properly on the phone. Now that I have settings to test, I'd like to get it working.

@DTabako - what you can try is to add your watch face to a new GAM project and use the private link to test it like a normal clock face.
If you already have it published, rename the package.json and build - it should create a new one with a new UUID, copy all the other old settings from the original package.json but keep the new UUID.
That way you can click the private link to load the watch as you would a published one and in the phone browser click OPEN APP.

Oh, good idea. Thanks! I'll give that a shot later today when I have time to set that up.
