Studio "Error installing app"

I can't install anything from Studio. Build is ok, but I get this error on run:

[9:10:13 AM]Sideload of app failed. App was built for , but connected device only supports Fitbit Versa applications.

there are no sideloads on phone or Versa. Versa is ticked as Build for Fitbit Versa in pakage.json.

What's the problem / solution ?

Are you definitely running Fitbit OS 3.0?

Firmware version 27.33.1.30 (Ionic) or 32.33.1.30 (Versa)

It's 32.33.1.30 (Versa). Installed for about 1 week ago.

I have just tried the Studio template "minimal". Same result.

And it doesn't matter if i use my phone (huawei p10lite), Versa, Fitbit or OS simulator.

Still error by "run" in Studio.

Just for your info: I have now tried Fitbit studio and Simulator on a MiniMac (OS10) with excellent result.

So the problem is apparently when using Windows 10 ( I have tried on 2 different Win10 laptops).

ve now narrowed the problem to be browser specific. Firefox (and waterfox) don't work. Internet Explorer (11) won't even load the studio. Edge works and Google Chrome works. So the Studio apparently only works on 50% of the major browsers.

I had the very same problem. Updating to the newest Firefox version fixed it for me.
