Tutorial for Developing the Companion app?

Hi All,

 

I was looking at the th3 watch face here: https://github.com/tyuen/THE-watchface

 

I can install it on my IRL Versa 2, but when I do, I see in the log it says that the companion app is started...(but I never see anything on my phone).

 

How does one go about developing a Companion app?  I don't see how to install it on my phone, and test it.

 

If I click on 'Clocks' in the fitbit app, it shows the last 5 clocks installed from the store, along with the message "Continue installing?"  If I click on 'Continue', nothing ever seems to happen.

 

So how doesn't one test the companion app?
