Ways to deal with notifications from other Apps on the phone

Hi folks,

 

I want to know some approaches to deal with notifications from other Apps on my Android phone, like counting how many notifications and getting details. I know that my device can receive and display the exact copy in normal use. However, I want to develop my customized App on the device which may use this information. Can I get access to it through a current API, whatever device's or companion's?

Unfortunately, we don't have an API for notification count at this time.
