Webhooks and deletions?

Hi—

 

I have a user which says that he goes into the Windows Fitbit app and if he edits anything for nutrition, it causes duplication in our platform.

 

The issue appears to be that the Windows app deletes the previous item and creates a new item — when we re-read the item on notification, we only see the new item and not the deleted item.

 

Should the webhook inform us of the deletion?  Or should we be comparing the data we previous received to the current records and deleting the previous records?

 

Please advise.  Thanks!
