Is it possible to access raw x,y,z accelerometer data for research purposes?

You can access all this sensor directly, here is the associated API:

https://dev.fitbit .com/build/reference/device-api/accelerometer

 

There are also APIs for Gyroscope, Orientation and Barometer.

Is access to the X,Y,Z data restricted to those using the SDK in conjunction with the Ionic or is the data accessible using the SDK acelerometer API with any Fitbit tracker please. Need to access this data for non-profit research, any assistance greatly appreciated.
