how is the companion running

Hi, I was wondering how the companion is running on the phone. Is it a separate process or a new thread on the Fitbit app process or something else?

I'm asking about this because I know that sometimes the Fitbit app is suspended (at least on android) and I wanted to better understand the connection between a companion and the Fitbit app.

The companion is run within a webview, and it can be suspended. It will be woken peerSocket onmessage or from one of the companion lifecycle events.
