naif question?

Dear all,

I am starting approaching the Fitbit SDK. My question: If I write an application, e.g. to read accelerometer or HR data, would the Fitbit Versa work as usually in background as far as its "normal" job is concerned? In other words, would it still calculate activity, sleep, etc. on a minute basis?
