what happens when an update clockface is published

Would the update be automatically push through to the user's watch or it would require the user to update it manually ?

Once the review team approve your update, you need to publish it. At that point the update will be available for users. They can either manually install the update from the gallery, or it will be automatically installed while the device is charging.
