A 3rd party app, WiseFit, is available for Sense 2

I just noticed WiseFit is now available as an app for my Sense 2.

Google has been blocking 3rd party apps on Sense 2. However, this one seems to have slipped though. Is it available for you, too?

@asiayeah   I saw that, too.  From the description, WiseFit shares a verse from the Book of Proverbs.  I have no idea why Google would install a religious app without my approval.

Hi, I don’t think Google installs the app by default. It shouldn’t be on your watch until you install it.

But making it as one of the 14 apps available is very interesting. Maybe Google thinks 13 isn’t a lucky number so it adds one?

@asiayeah - good spot, it got published by accident.

The person approving it didn't check properly.

I hope Google or Fitbit can continue to make a few more mistakes and release a few more.

So far I’m enjoying WiseFit. 😃

@asiayeah-  as Google market both Fitbit and Pixel watches it doesn't seem to make much sense to artificially cripple the Sense 2/Versa 4 [which evidently can run apps perfectly fine] by denying apps to be installed presumably in order to make the lesser [in many ways] Pixel watch look better.

Why destroy your own brand watch to make another model look better. Surely the more logical approach is to make the watches the best they can be, more sales, more profits, more happy customers. But it is a marketing decision they have decided to stick with to the detriment of Fitbit buyers.

Wow. I’m impressed by Fitbit. I wonder if they fix it after reading my post. I surely hope so as it means someone still monitors this forum.

Nevertheless, this has served as one of the evidences that Sense 2 is capable of running 3rd party apps.

@asiayeah   I sent feedback to Google after I saw it.  You can't find it if your search for it, either.
